Authorities late Wednesday night said a suspect is in custody after a shooting early Wednesday morning in Woodward.
Woodward Police, along with the OSBI, OBN and FBI spent the day investigating the shooting death of 22 year-old Justin Lout at 703 2nd Street. Police said the shooting took place between 3:45 a.m. and 4 a.m. and Lout did not live at the address.
Authorities said the suspect had an accomplice who is cooperating.
Woodward Police Chief Curt Terry said he was extremely proud of how the law enforcement agencies worked together.
The incident could be connected to another shooting in town several weeks ago when a Woodward man was shot in the leg.
