Troy White Wins Special Republican Primary

Tuesday’s unofficial election results show Troy White has won the special Republican primary for Woodward County Commissioner in District 1 with 52 percent of the vote. Steve Day finished second in the three-man race with 33 percent of the vote and David Dezort took the remaining 15 percent.

White moves onto the general election later this year to face Democrat Michael Kee.

 

OTHER RESULTSĀ 

In the Freedom School board election, Shane Morris beats Raul Galindo with 56 percent of the vote.

Bond issues failed for both Arnett and Vici public schools.

The bond issue for Arnett received 53 percent of the “Yes” vote, but did not gain the 60 percent needed to pass.

57 percent voted against the bond issue at Vici.

 

All results will be official come Friday.
